Sync with other drivers inconsistent

Hello. My wife and I both have the Pro version. We are having issues with instant sync not working consistently. Sometimes if she enters a new fill-up, it updates to my phone. Sometimes it doesn't. So far, when I enter a new fill-up, it does NOT update to her phone. Any information she enters through the web app will update instantly to her phone, but not at all to my phone. Pushing out a full sync to each other works, but since that overwrites all data, things can get lost if they are not staying synched automatically with each fill-up.

Yes, we are both on Android. Both running the Pro version of Fuel Buddy. Both on version 30.2..

Any plans to fix this soon? We are both now on Simply Auto v 32.3 (paid Pro version) and it is still not functioning properly. Any fill-ups she makes will auto-sync with me, but any fill-ups I make are hit or miss. Sometimes they sync with her, sometimes they don't and the only thing I can do is to push out a full sync. It happened again this morning. Over all, we have been very pleased with the app, but if they will not consistently stay synched with each other, there's no point in continuing to use it.

The sync seems to be working, although for the past 3 weeks, my wife gets a Sync Failed notification. The sync DOES work, she just gets a false notification that it failed. Every time. Again, when she enters a fill-up, my phone syncs just fine. But when I enter a fill-up, she receives a failed notification, but still does actually sync.

I am experiencing the same issues with regards to the sync being inconsistent between android phones. We get sync failed notifications but it has actually failed to sync. It would also be great if there was a merge sync option.

I'm having the problem regularly again. The past two times I have filled up, my wife hasn't even gotten a failed sync notification. She gets nothing at all. Mine continues to update properly whenever she fills up. It has always only been one way, my updates not getting pushed out to her. So far, we are checking with each other every single time "Did you get my fill up notification today?" and if not, I push out a full sync to her. But that is rapidly becoming a pain. Any chance this will be fixed at all? Or could you at least make it so I can do a "merge" sync so if I push a full sync to her, it doesn't overwrite any of her new data, just merges mine into it? My only other option is to find another app that works properly like it is supposed to.

And again, I filled up and it didn't sync with hers. She didn't even get a notification of it. Who do I talk to about getting a refund? I've paid for the Pro version for both of our phones and if it's not going to do what I paid for, it's time I get my money back. Support hasn't seemed to do much beyond "I'll look into it" which it doesn't seem like they are doing.

We're having the same thing. My husband & I can't get auto-sync to work. We're both on the "Gold" Android app. It hasn't done a sync for I don't even know how long. I just tried to force sync, but I think it deleted my data & replaced it with my husband's data. This is ridiculous. Is there anyway to 1) recover & sync the data from both our accounts and 2) revise the sync feature so that it combines rather than replaces data & puts a sync button right in the fill-up box?

Hi Emily. Sorry about that. Yes, the full sync is not intelligent enough to merge data. Hence we have a warning which mentions that the data will be overwritten. We are in the process of making it able to merge data. The sync should automatically happen without the need to put a button in the fill up or anywhere else. To fetch your data back, we will need to pull it out of our archives. Can you please mail me at support@simplyauto.app.
