Sync issue since changing from googlemail.com to gmail.com

I have a long standing issue with my Gmail account login. I switched my Google account from google.com to gmail.com in the previous 12 months and now the simplyauto web app and android app are out of sync. This problem has existed for many months but now I have a new car I need to get it sorted. I have raised this issue to support many times but no suitable resolution has been provided. I would like for my account to be deleted or the email address changed so I can continue using the service I have paid for.
